ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE PLUME LINE WILL GO TOWARDS CONTINUING THE PAM JOHNSTON SCHOLARSHIP.
The Pam Johnston Scholarship will be awarded to a Cajon High School student who, like Pam, is bold and creative, outgoing and unique. Pam graduated from Cajon High School and followed her ambition to attend college at UC Berkeley and then the Parsons School of Design in New York City. She created a well-loved jewelry design company, Plume NYC, and co-owned a Brooklyn boutique, theBanquet.
The $1,000 scholarship will support a student’s education in fashion design and/or related undergraduate work. Our goal is to award one scholarship per year for at least 10 years.
The winner will be someone determined, fun-loving, and involved in school activities. Candidates should be people who stand out in the crowd because they fearlessly pursue their goals, and consider getting dressed to be an art form.
